Milacemide
Milacemide, a glycinamide derivative, is an orally active MAO-B inhibitor with anticonvulsant activity. Milacemide reduces the levels of dihydroxyphenylacetic acid and homovanilic acid, but increases the levels of dopamine and serotonin in the caudate nucleus. Milacemide is promising for research of Alzheimer's disease[1][2].
