Thiazole Orange
Thiazole orange is frequently employed in reticulocyte analysis to stain DNA in agarose gels and capillary electrophoresis, as well as the leftover RNA of blood cells. In addition to staining bacteria and human cells, thiazole orange can also stain the yeast nucleus.
