RGM-C Protein, a BMP coreceptor, crucially regulates hepcidin (HAMP) expression, influencing iron homeostasis through enhanced BMP signaling. It forms a molecular network by interacting with BMP2, BMP4, BMP6, BMPR1B, and TMPRSS6, collectively mediating BMP-related signaling pathways and modulating iron regulatory processes.
