Human CCL14 / HCC-1 Protein, His Tag
Human CCL14, His Tag (CC4-H5249) is expressed from human 293 cells (HEK293) . It contains AA Thr 20 - Asn 93 (Accession # Q16627-1) .
Product Specifications
Background
CCL14 has weak activity on human monocytes and acts via receptors that also recognize MIP-1 alpha. It induces intracellular Ca2+ changes and enzyme release, but no chemotaxis, at concentrations of 100-1,000 nM, and is inactive on T-lymphocytes, neutrophils, and eosinophil leukocytes. Enhances the proliferation of CD34 myeloid progenitor cells. The processed form HCC-1 (9-74) is a chemotactic factor that attracts monocytes, eosinophils, and T-cells and is a ligand for CCR1, CCR3 and CCR5.
Specifications
This protein carries a polyhistidine tag at the N-terminus. The protein has a calculated MW of 10.7 kDa. The protein migrates as 14-15 kDa under reducing (R) condition (SDS-PAGE) due to glycosylation.
