Oleic (9-cis-Octadecenoic) acid ethanolamine consists of oleic acid and ethanolamine. Oleic acid ethanolamine has sclerotherapeutic activity. Oleic acid ethanolamine can cause inflammatory reaction in the intimal endothelium of the vein[1].
