The ABHD10 protein is an acylprotein thioesterase that hydrolyzes fatty acids from acylated residues in proteins. It regulates mitochondrial S-depalmitoylation of peroxiredoxin-5/PRDX5 and modulates mitochondrial antioxidant capacity.
