Human BCMA-coupled Magnetic Beads

Tumor necrosis factor receptor superfamily member 17 (TNFRSF17) is also known as B-cell maturation protein (BCMA), CD antigen CD269, which is a member of the TNF-receptor superfamily. TNFRSF17 contains one TNFR-Cys repeat. TNFRSF17 is expressed in mature B-cells, but not in T-cells or monocytes. TNFRSF17 is receptor for TNFSF13B/BLyS/BAFF and TNFSF13/APRIL. TNFRSF17 promotes B-cell survival and plays a role in the regulation of humoral immunity. TNFRSF17 can activate NF-kappa-B and JNK.

Upon receipt, please store the Beads at -20°C. The shelf life is 1 year at -20 °C. Once reconstitution, please aliquote and store under -70°C for no more than 3 months, and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. Immediate use after reconstitution is highly recommended. Please avoid more than 3 freeze-thaw cycles once reconstitution, immediate use after reconstitution is highly recommended.

Antibody Purification: 1. Resuspend the lyophilized beads by adding the buffer of choice. 2. Add analyte to the suspension, mix and incubate to enable specific binding of the beads and the target protein. 3. Magnetize beads, remove supernatant, and wash unbound protein fractions to capture target protein-bound beads. 4. Wash, magnetize the beads and collect purified target protein for use in downstream applications.
