Acetyl zingerone is a new multifunctional skincare ingredient that protects melanocytes from ongoing DNA damage. Acetyl zingerone inhibits matrix metalloproteinases and suppresses the expression of the IL-17A target genes, having anti-inflammatory and antioxidant activities[1][2].
