Afelimomab (MAK 195F) is a F (ab') 2 fragment of an anti-TNF monoclonal antibody used in sepsis research. It has been investigated in clinical and preclinical studies to neutralize tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNF-α) activity, both in vitro and in animal models of systemic inflammatory response.
