Palivizumab Antibody
Palivizumab (MEDI-493) is a humanized monoclonal antibody targeting the RSV fusion (F) protein. It neutralizes RSV subtypes A and B by binding to the A antigenic site, preventing viral entry. This antibody is widely used in both in vitro neutralization assays and in vivo models for studying RSV pathogenesis and prophylactic strategies.
