Chickens were immunized with highly purified Glutamate Dehydrogenase, purified from Clostridium difficile. After multiple immunizations in Freund's adjuvant, eggs were collected and the IgY purified. Anti-Clostridium difficile Glutamate Dehydrogenase was immunoaffinity purified using the immunogen immobilized on a solid support.
