Chickens were immunized with recombinant Botulinum Neurotoxin Type E Light Chain (Clostridium botulinum) . After multiple immunizations in Freund's adjuvant, eggs were collected and the IgY purified. Anti-Botulinum Neurotoxin Type E Light Chain was immunoaffinity purified using the immunogen immobilized on a solid support and conjugated to fluorescein isothiocyanate.
