Chickens were immunized with highly purified Lethal Factor A purified from Bacillus anthracis. After multiple immunizations in Freund's adjuvant, eggs were collected and the IgY purified. Anti-Bacillus anthracis Lethal Factor A was immunoaffinity purified using the immunogen immobilized on a solid support and conjugated to Fluorscein Isothiocyanate.
