Ebsulfur is a benzisothiazolone cytocidal inhibitor targeting the trypanothione reductase (TryR) of Trypanosoma brucei, with IC50 values of 61-293 nM for Trypanosoma brucei. Ebsulfur can be used for the research of African trypanosomiasis[1].
