Empasiprubart Antibody
Empasiprubart (ARGX-117) is a humanized inhibitory monoclonal antibody that binds the C2 protein's Sushi-2 domain, blocking C3 proconvertase formation to inhibit the classical and lectin complement pathways. It has demonstrated efficacy in in vivo models of autoimmune hemolytic anemia and antibody-mediated transplant rejection, and is used in related in vitro immunological research.
