Mouse Anti-Human CK19 Monoclonal Antibody (EX054)

Keratin 19 (CK19) is type I keratin. CK19 is the most common single marker for detection of disseminated tumor cells (DTCs) in bone marrow (BM) of breast cancer patients based on Room Temperature-PCR, and detection of DTCs expressing this specific cytokeratin is associated with poor prognosis due to metastatic recurrence. Therefore, it can be speculated that CK19 is not only a marker of epithelial tumor cells, but also has some biological functions in early metastasis and diffusion.
