Does not cross react with a normal serum of rat and rat IgG1, IgG2a, IgG2b, IgM and IgA secreting hybridomas supernatants. It cross-reacts with highly concentrated rat IgG2c supernatant. It does not bind to chicken, rabbit, goat, sheep, bovine, horse, dog IgG and human IgM. It binds to swine, human IgG and weakly baboon IgG (ELISA test) .
