C12-113 is a lipidoid delivery agent that can be used to transfect siRNA into cells. C12-113 can also be combined with other lipids to form lipid nanoparticles (LNPs) for the delivery of mRNA encoding the spike glycoprotein of severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) in mice[1][2].
