The JMJD2A protein is a central histone demethylase in the histone code that specifically targets "Lys-9" and "Lys-36" of histone H3. It excludes demethylation of H3 "Lys-4", "Lys-27" and H4 "Lys-20". JMJD2A Protein, Human (His) is the recombinant human-derived JMJD2A protein, expressed by E. coli , with N-6*His labeled tag.
