Ambruticin represents a class of antibiotics, that can be isolated from a strain of Polyangium cellulosum var. fulvum, a bacterium belonging to the class Myxobacteriales. Ambruticin is a cyclopropyl-polyene-pyran acid and is active against fungi[1].
