Mutations in CTLA-4 have been associated with diseases such as insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus, Hashimoto’s thyroiditis, Graves’ disease, systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), celiac disease, primary biliary cirrhosis, thyroid-associated orbitopathy, and multiple sclerosis. Anti-CTLA-4 Antibody has been developed to sensitively detect the wildtype form of CTLA-4.
