Anti-MUC2 Antibody detects goblet cells of the colon and colonic carcinomas, normal and neoplastic breast tissues, and prostate adenocarcinoma. MUC2 or mucin 2 is an intestinal glycoprotein that functions to protect the gut lumen by forming an insoluble mucous barrier.
