Etamiphyllin (camsylate)
Etamiphyllin camsylate (Etamiphylline camsylate) is a cardiac stimulant with oral activity that increases cardiac output without increasing heart rate. Etamiphyllin camsylate is also a respiratory stimulant used for respiratory failure, as Etamiphyllin camsylate relaxes the smooth muscles of the bronchi and bronchioles, thereby opening up the airways to relieve chronic obstructive pulmonary disease[1][2].
