Microginin 527
Microginin 527 is a linear cyanobacterial peptide with potent angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitory activity. Microginin 527 also exhibits inhibitory effects on protein phosphatases and leucine aminopeptidase. With an IC50 value of 31 μM, Microginin 527 is the most active component in this class of compounds[1].
