Siegeskaurolic acid is an orally active anti-inflammatory agent. Siegeskaurolic acid inhibits the productions of nitric oxide (NO), prostaglandin E (2) (PGE (2) ), tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNF-alpha) and the activationon of nuclear factor-kappaB [1].
