AGN 191976 is a potent and selective thromboxane A2-sensitive (TP) receptor agonist with EC50 values of 0.23 nM and 24 nM in rat aorta and human platelets, respectively. AGN 191976 has potent IOP-lowering effects in dogs and monkeys. AGN 191976 can be used to study vascular biology and the role of thromboxane A2 in vascular function[1].
