Anti-Hu CD85d PE-Cy™7
CD85d is a type I transmembrane glycoprotein of the ILT/LIR family, which contains three intracellular ITIMs. It is expressed on NK cells, monocytes, macrophages, and weakly granulocytes. CD85d binds classic HLA class I molecules, and non-classic HLA-G1, and is involved in the suppression of NK cell-mediated cytotoxicity. Interaction between CD85d and trophoblast-specific HLA-G1 probably contributes to maternal tolerance of the fetus by inhibiting maternal leukocytes. Antigen presenting cells expressing CD85d and CD85k appear to be crucial to the generation of CD8+ suppressor T cells and CD4+ regulatory T cells.
