Human Lymphotactin (XCL1) Recombinant
Recombinant Lymphotactin is a disulfide-linked homodimeric protein consisting of 93 amino acid residues, and migrates as an approximately 10 kDa protein under non-reducing and reducing conditions in SDS-PAGE. Optimized DNA sequence encoding human lymphotactin (XCL1) mature chain was expressed inE. coli.
Product Specifications
Background
XCL1, also known as lymphotactin or ATAC, is the sole member of the C subgroup of chemokines, and is produced mainly by activated CD8 T cells (and to a lesser extent by NK and mast cells) . The chemotactic activity of XCL1 is restricted to lymphocytes and has no effect on monocytes.
UniProt

Endotoxin
< 0.1 ng/µg (1 EU/µg), using the LAL gel clot method.
Purity
≥ 97% by SDS-PAGE and HPLC
Format
Lyophilized protein
Reconstitution
Reconstitute at 0.1-1.0 mg/ml in distilled water. This solution can then be diluted into other buffers. To maximize product collection from vial surface, vortex briefly and then spin down to recollect the liquid.
Shipping Conditions
Gel Packs or Dry Ice
Storage Conditions
The lyophilized protein is stable for at least 2 years from date of receipt when stored at -20°C. Upon reconstitution, store in working aliquots at +4°C for up to one month, or at -20°C for up to six months, in the presence of a carrier protein. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles.
