3-aminobenzamide
3-aminobenzamidine is a novel, potent inhibitor of PARP. 3-Aminobenzamide enhances apoptosis by interrupting the rejoining of DNA strand breaks induced by both ionizing radiations or alkylating agents. It also exhibits protective action against myocardial reperfusion injury and local inflammation.
