PF-07957472 (Compound 4) is an orally active SARS-CoV-2 papain-like protease (PLpro) inhibitor. PF-07957472 shows cytopathic effect in SARS-CoV-2 infected NHBE cells (EC50 = 13.9 nM) . PF-07957472 shows antiviral effect in a mouse-adapted model of COVID-19 infection model[1].
