BRD6929
BRD6929 is a benzamide-based brain-penetrant inhibitor of Histone deacetylases HDAC1 and HDAC2. It increases histone acetylation and inhibits HDAC1 and HDAC2 with an IC₅₀ of 1 nM and 8 nM respectively. It shows 50–400 fold selectivity over HDAC3 with an IC₅₀ of 458 nM. Chronic treatment with BRD6929 improves mood-related behaviors in mice.
