hOAT-IN-1 (compound 5) is a mechanical inhibitor of human ornithine aminotransferase (hOAT). hOAT-IN-1 as a time-dependent inhibitor can form tightly bound PLP inhibitor adduct with hOAT. hOAT-IN-1 can result IN tight occupation of the active site of hOAT. hOAT-IN-1 can be used in the study of lung cell carcinoma [1].
