Guanylate binding protein 4 is a protein in humans that is encoded by the GBP4 gene. Guanylate-binding protein 4, Binds GTP, GDP and GMP. Hydrolyzes GTP very efficiently; GDP rather than GMP is the major reaction product. Plays a role in erythroid differentiation.
