NQO1 Antibody
NAD(P)H:quinone oxidoreductase is an enzyme that catalyzes the two-electron reduction of quinones to hydroquinones, resulting in the activation or deactivation of the hydroquinone. Increased expression of NQO1 is seen in tumors of the breast, liver and colon and NSCLC (non-small cell lung cancer), suggesting a role in tumor development and possibly treatment. NQO1 has also been linked to Alzheimer's disease, found to be upregulated in response to the oxidative stress of the AD process.
