CD163, Human (Biotinylated, HEK293, His-Avi)
The CD163 protein is an acute-phase regulatory receptor that clears hemoglobin/haptoglobin complexes through endocytosis by macrophages, protecting tissues from potential oxidative damage. In addition to iron uptake, CD163 also exhibits calcium- and pH-dependent binding preferences, with higher affinity for the hemoglobin/haptoglobin complex of the HP*1F phenotype. CD163 Protein, Human (Biotinylated, HEK293, His-Avi) is the recombinant human-derived CD163 protein, expressed by HEK293 , with C-Avi, C-His labeled tag.
