GGTI-298 Trifluoroacetate
GGTI-298 is an inhibitor of geranylgeranyltransferase I. This enzyme transfers geranylgeranyl group to proteins containing a CAAX sequence in which X is leucine or isoleucine. GGTI-298 inhibits the growth of A549 cells with an IC₅₀ value of 4 μM. It induces apoptosis and blocks cells in G₀-G₁ phase.
