3-Demethylthiocolchicine is a colchicine (HY-16569) analog with broad-spectrum antitumor activity. 3-Demethylthiocolchicine has the same effects and activities as colchicine in blocking casein-induced amyloidosis, microtubule binding, and anti-inflammatory effects, with significantly lower toxicity[1][2].
