Meclonazepam (Ro 11-3128) is a benzodiazepine compound with anxiolytic effect[1]. Meclonazepam is active against immature S. mansoni. Meclonazepam (30 μM) eliminates 100% of immature parasites. Meclonazepam has a anti-schistosomal effect[2].
