Background
CLO1 is a protein found in Arabidopsis thaliana. CLO1 is involved in the formation and maintenance of the chloroplast outer envelope membrane. It plays a role in the biogenesis of the chloroplast and is essential for proper chloroplast function. CLO1 can be studied to understand its role in chloroplast biogenesis and maintenance. Antibodies against CLO1 can be used for localization studies and to investigate its expression patterns.
