Tienilic acid (Standard) is the analytical standard of Tienilic acid. This product is intended for research and analytical applications. Tienilic acid (Ticrynafen; ANP 3624) acts as a diuretic hypotensive agent. However, Tienilic acid induces hepatotoxicity. Tienilic acid is converted into electrophilic metabolites by cytochrome P450 (CYP) in vitro[1].
