RFX1 (vPairTM) Antibodies

Rabbit polyclonal to RFX1. RFX1 antibodies represent a pair of fully characterized antibodies that recognize two different regions of a target protein. The product is developed by Biorbyt to address whether the signal observed truly represents the protein of interest, an often encountered issue in antibody pairs-based assays. The use of a pair of fully characterized vPair antibodies in the same assay can validate signal specificity since vPair antibodies recognize two independent epitopes of the same protein. Different sets of vPair antibodies are developed at Biorbyt to work with specific applications, including antibody pairs arrays, Western blot, IP-Western, ChIP, IHC, and FACS. Regulatory factor X 1 (RFX1) is a member of the regulatory factor X gene family, which encodes transcription factors that contain a highly-conserved winged helix DNA binding domain. RFX1 is structurally related to regulatory factors X2, X3, X4, and X5. It is a transcriptional activator that can bind DNA as a monomer or as a heterodimer with RFX family members X2, X3, and X5, but not with X4. RFX1 binds to the X-boxes of MHC class II genes and is essential for their expression. Also, it can bind to an inverted repeat required for expression of hepatitis B virus genes.
