Chickens were immunized with highly purified, pooled normal Human IgM. After multiple immunizations in Freund’s adjuvant, eggs were collected and the IgY fraction prepared. This fraction was solid-phase absorbed to make it mu chain specific and immunoaffinity purified from a Human IgM immunoabsorbant.
