CADM4 (N) Antibody, Rabbit Polyclonal
Rabbit polyclonal to CADM4.Cell adhesion molecule 4 (CADM4) is a single-pass type I membrane protein that belongs to thenectin family. It is involved in the cell-cell adhesion. It has calcium-and magnesium-independent cellcelladhesion activity, and may have tumor-suppressor activity. It is expressed at the cell-cellattachment sites in the renal tubules, the transitional epithelia of the bladder, and the glandularepithelia of the prostate. Expression of CADM4 was lost or markedly reduced in many human gliomacell lines or some prostate cancer cell lines, suggesting that loss of expression of these genes mightbe involved in some human cancers.
