DACH1 (C2) Antibody, Rabbit Polyclonal
Rabbit polyclonal to DACH1.Dachshund homolog 1 (DACH1) is a transcription factor involved in regulation of organogenesis. Itappears to be a regulator of SIX1, SIX6 and probably SIX5. Corepression of precursor cellproliferation in myoblasts by SIX1 is switched to coactivation through recruient of EYA3 to the SIX1-DACH1 complex. DACH1 may act as a corepressor of SIX6 in regulating proliferation by directlyrepressing cyclin-dependent kinase inhibitors, including the p27Kip1 promoter. It also inhibits TGFbetasignaling through interaction with SMAD4 and NCOR1 and binding to chromatin DNA via theDACHbox-N domain. Expression of DACH1 is lost in certain forms of metastatic cancer, and iscorrelated with poor prognosis.
