Rabbit polyclonal to CASP10.Caspase 10 (CASP10) belongs to the peptidase C14A family, which is involved in the activationcascade of caspases responsible for apoptosis execution. CASP10 is recruited to both Fas-andTNFR-1 receptors in a FADD dependent manner, and may participate in the granzyme B apoptoticpathways. CASP10 cleaves and activates caspase-3, -4, -6, -7, -8, and -9, and hydrolyzes the smallmoleculesubstrates, Tyr-Val-Ala-Asp-|-AMC and Asp-Glu-Val-Asp-|-AMC. Defects in CASP10 havebeen implicated in autoimmune lymphoproliferative syndrome type 2A (ALPS2A), familial non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL) and gastric cancer (GASC) .
