Rabbit polyclonal to CCL20.Chemokine (C-C motif) ligand 20 (CCL20) is a member of the subfamily of small cytokine CC genescharacterized by two adjacent cysteine residues. It is a chemotactic factor that attracts lymphocytesand neutrophils but not monocytes. In colony formation assays it inhibits proliferation of myeloidprogenitor cells. C-terminal processed forms lacking 1, 3 or 6 amino acids have been shown to beequally chemotactically active for leukocytes.
