MLL2 (N) Antibody, Rabbit Polyclonal
Rabbit polyclonal to MLL2.MLL2 is a histone methyltransferase that methylates 'Lys-4' of histone H3 (H3K4me) . H3K4merepresents a specific tag for epigenetic transcriptional activation. MLL2 plays a central role in betaglobinlocus transcription regulation by being recruited by NFE2. MLLS acts as a coactivator forestrogen receptor by being recruited by ESR1, thereby activating transcription. MLL2 is also requiredduring the transcriptionally active period of oocyte growth for the establishment and/or maintenance ofbulk H3K4 trimethylation (H3K4me3), global transcriptional silencing that preceeds resumption ofmeiosis, oocyte survival and normal zygotic genome activation.
