PIASx (C) Antibody, Mouse Monoclonal
Mouse monoclonal to PIASx.PIASx is a member of the PIAS [protein inhibitor of activated STAT (signal transducer and activator of transcription) ] family of transcriptional modulators. PIASx functions as an E3 small ubiquitin-like modifier (SUMO) ligase. It stabilizes the interaction between UBE2I and the substrate, and functions as a SUMO-tethering factor. PIASx plays an important role in transcriptional regulation of numerous cellular pathways, including the STAT pathway and the p53 pathway.
