R-Phycoerythrin Antibody Biotin Conjugated
R-Phycoerythrin antibody (Biotin)
Product Specifications
Product Name Alternative
Goat anti R-Phycoerythrin Antibody biotin conjugate, goat anti Phycoerythrin biotin conjugate, goat anti-R-Phycoerythrin biotin conjugation
Immunogen
This affinity purified antibody was prepared from whole goat serum produced by repeated immunizations with highly purified R-Phycoerythrin from the seaweed gracilaria.
Clonality
Polyclonal
Conjugation
Biotin
Concentration
1.0 mg/mL
Dilution
ELISA: 1:200,000, IHC: 1:500 - 1:3,000, WB: 1:2,000 - 1:20,000
Purity
This product was prepared from monospecific antiserum by immunoaffinity chromatography using R-Phycoerythrin coupled to agarose beads followed by solid phase adsorption (s) to remove any unwanted reactivities. Assay by immunoelectrophoresis resulted in a single precipitin arc against anti-biotin, anti-Goat Serum, and R-Phycoerythrin conjugated IgG. This antibody will cross react with B-Phycoerythrin. Reactivity with other phycobiliproteins is unknown.
Form
Lyophilized
Storage Conditions
Store vial at 4° C prior to restoration. For extended storage aliquot contents and freeze at -20° C or below. Avoid cycles of freezing and thawing. Centrifuge product if not completely clear after standing at room temperature. This product is stable for several weeks at 4° C as an undiluted liquid. Dilute only prior to immediate use.
Notes
For research use only.
Applications Notes
Anti-R-Phycoerythrin Antibody Biotin Conjugated has been tested by ELISA and is suitable for immunoblotting (western or dot blot), ELISA as well as other immunochemical assays. R-Phycoerythrin (240 kDa) is a labile molecule that may dissociate into components upon exposure to reducing or denaturing agents. Reaction with low molecular weight fragments is typically noted by western blot.
