Human Cadherin-17 / CDH17 Protein, His Tag (Active)
Human Cadherin-17 Protein, His Tag (Active) (CA7-H52H4) is expressed from human 293 cells (HEK293) . It contains AA Gln 23 - Met 787 (Accession # Q12864-1) .
Product Specifications
Background
Cadherin-17, also known as liver-intestine (LI) Cadherin, belongs to the cadherin family of calcium-dependent cell adhesion molecules. In vivo studies showed CDH17 knockout resulted in apoptotic PC tumor death through activating caspase-3 activity. Taken together, CDH17 functions as an oncogenic molecule critical to PC growth by regulating tumor apoptosis signaling pathways and CDH17 could be targeted to develop an anti-PC therapeutic approach.
Specifications
This protein carries a polyhistidine tag at the C-terminus. The protein has a calculated MW of 86.9 kDa. The protein migrates as 95-130 kDa when calibrated against Star Ribbon Pre-stained Protein Marker under reducing (R) condition (SDS-PAGE) due to glycosylation.
